EUSci popular science Editing Course, May 31st 2012

Are you a scientist, or interested in science? Do you enjoy fact-checking and helping writers improve the structure and readability of their work? Do you have an eye for detail and a secret passion for  grammar? Does reading "definately" or "tomatoe's" make your blood boil? Then you might be editor material!

EUSci, the University of Edinburgh science magazine, is running a hands-on science editing course aimed at students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and early years researchers interested in science writing and publishing. We will teach you the basics of editing and copyediting popular scientific articles, common mistakes to look out for, and how much editing is too much editing. This workshop is free of charge; however you are urged to register early as spaces available are limited. Registration Deadline is May 23rd 2012.
