EUSci wins 'Best Magazine' at the Herald Scottish Student Press Awards 2011

Following the nomination last year of our podcast in the 'Best Use of Multimedia' category, EUSci has brought an award home this year- for no less than 'Best Magazine'. We were pitted against three worthy competitors, The Convergent (City of Glasgow College, The Edit (Glasgow Caledonian University) and qmunicate (University Of Glasgow), but EUSci prevailed. Huge thanks go to all our contributors who made this possible- writers, editors, illustrators, production people and organisers.

Thanks to the win, one lucky student from the EUSci team will receive a one-week internship with The Herald.

Hi guys,

It was great to chat to you guys after the awards - shame you could not join us in Bar 10 afterwards for a few celebratory drinks. Hope Bar Soba was exemplary for the wrap-up party.
